Welcome Banner shows on desktop but not on mobile

Hi,

I’m having an issue with the Welcome Banner on my Discourse site.

The banner shows correctly on desktop, but it does not appear on mobile.

Here’s what I’ve already checked:

  • I filled in the Header and Subheader texts for new members, logged-in members, and anonymous visitors
  • Page visibility is set to Homepage only
  • Location is set to Below site header
  • I tried hard refresh and also checked in incognito mode

The banner still only appears on desktop and is completely missing on mobile.

Is there a specific setting I need to enable to show the Welcome Banner on mobile devices?

IIRC this is by-design. It was meant for larger-width devices, if I’m not wrong. I’m sure I’ve read this somewhere, but I can’t find it now…

(Also, why not just send the link of the forum?)
