What happened to the “quote whole post” button ?
It suddenly disappeared.
Most annoying.
It is pretty redundant as it clutters the Topic significantly with duplication, and there are other (tidier) tools baked in for that functionality.
Personally, I’m glad to see it gone!
It is also pretty easy to manually do it if you really need to (as above).
There’s another topic with people complaining about it and a (broken?) theme component to add it back.

But that quote method doesn’t include all embedded codes..

but not the associated link.
Is there another way of getting that ?

I can’t explain anything. Because for me it has worked that way all the time for me. Will this happen on safe-mode? Browser issue?

I’m not so sure about that bug.
In the previous post ^, if you highlight the entire post and select “quote”,
you only get the emoji but not the link code.
So maybe that’s a different “bug” (!), (and no, i don’t know why you’d
want a single emoji with a link, but there it is !)
Maybe a link emoji would be useful sometimes .. eg

Edit: just tried selecting the whole post by double clicking it, and the
works. Bizarre !
Edit 2: ..and now i can’t do it ! Seems very hit & miss.
Just pasteing over and choosing quote. Win11 and iPad.
