I’ve run across this before. The search term search_term_string comes from the sitelinks search term tag that’s added to the head tag of all Discourse sites. Its intended use is to allow users to search a Discourse site from the browser’s address bar.

My understanding is that bots can somehow trigger this without entering an actual search term. When that happens {search_term_string} gets added to the search logs.

I noticed today I have the same thing:

I’m not sure it classifies as a bug, but it would look cleaner if it didn’t appear in these results
