What is the Users metric on the about page?

Looking at this infobox in /about, I’m having trouble figuring out what the Users metric is. It’s lower than Active Users and doesn’t seem to match any of the reports.

It’s the number of users created in the last 7 and 30 days.

Ah. I thought I had checked the signups report, but I think I had the dates wrong. Thank you.

Maybe rename the fields or add a tooltip? That would make things a lot more easy to understand. Also wondered to myself what that means the first time I saw it.
