Can someone explain why that many existing translations were removed in this PR?
One example is the German translation for all the texts needed for the high context cards of the Horizon theme. On Meta I now see those texts in English (apart from the date and time)
On my forum that was updated less than 12 hours ago those translations are still available. There is a translation for solved, for replies, for posted, and for replied
Iâll take a look later this week. Itâs very unfortunate that we lost so many translations, but Iâm not sure if thereâs an easy solution to get them back.
Can you explain that in more detail? I understand that the ~20 texts containing typos had or have to be retranslated, because âkeep_translationsâ wasnât added. But where is the connection to all the other texts I translated in the past weeks that were removed?
For example, the Horizon texts werenât changed in the PR you referenced. There is no change in the themes folder in the typo PR
If those were removed because the texts changed, wouldnât they show up on Crowdin for translation again? According to Crowdin, apart from the new setting description, Horizon is fully translated. Solved, posted, and the other texts have their translations as they had in the past weeks.
I would just like to mention that, again, after this release, some translated texts have disappeared. These texts are still present in English but are now missing in other languages.
What was the reason why this was merged instead of waiting until this was fixed? It doesnât feel like a step forward to remove way more translations than you add.
