Wiki-editing is now TL2

Just to keep everyone in the loop, after a small review of our settings, we’ve decided to bump wiki-editing to TL2 here on meta. :arrow_double_up:

For most, this will likely pass without notice but it is something to be aware of when suggesting people jump in and make direct edits to any docs (for instance).

For anyone who wants to suggest an edit to a wiki who isn’t yet at TL2 just leave a post in the topic as normal and we can help you out.

Where can I see what my trust level is? In the preferences I can not see it. And how and when will I get TL2?

You can find your trust level in your profile

“Basic user” is trust level 1.

Hi Frank! Glad you’re interested in helping out here on meta. From the blog post Moin shared, here’s how you get to trust level 2 and privileges you get once you get there. It’s not so hard but demonstrates your commitment to the community. These are the defaults for all Discourse sites out of the box, but they can be changed by site admins to suit their needs.
