Please let me know if anyone has the same issue:
On Discourse plugin settings, “Commenting” - > “Common” -> “Load comments with Ajax.”
When I enable that Ajax feature, it causes the other feature (“Display existing WordPress comments beneath Discourse comments.”) to stop working, meaning that existing comments stop showing if you use Ajax.
Yes, that’s a known issue. I’ll see if I can fix it.
