Does anything special have to be done for the Yahoo login? I only see a checkbox:
enable yahoo logins
Enable Yahoo authentication
When I check it and try it out, I get a popup window with the following error:
502 Bad Gateway
nginx
It’s trying to access my site at “/auth/yahoo”.
Can you repro this @techapj ?

Works 100% fine here, not sure what you are doing, are you on latest? Is there any particular browser where this happens.

I’m on v1.3.0.beta9 +159. So weird… I tried it again and it seems to be working now.

Maybe Yahoo had issues, would not be the first time.

http://my.domain.com/auth/yahoo
My own nginx server gives me the bad gateway error. I’m on v1.3.0.beta10 +3.

Can you log in with Yahoo account here?
Yep, now I’m logged in to a separate Yahoo account.

hmmm so this is specific to your site, can you try on http://try.discourse.com (which is not https) to rule out http vs https ?
I am getting the same error on my forum http://forum.shopperstalk.in
It redirects to http://forum.shopperstalk.in/auth/yahoo with 502 error. Weird thing is I don’t use nginx but the page still mentions it.
Can login fine here and try.discourse.org sites though.
Weird. Suddenly its working on its own.
Though I did add my domain at https://developer.apps.yahoo.com/manage and got it verified. Not sure if this helps. Though even when I delete the domain now, login continues to work.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Did anyone ever get to the bottom of what causes this?
I’ve registered the site as an app with Yahoo. I do note that Yahoo provides a Client ID and CLient Secret, but there’s nowhere to enter these in Discourse’s admin.
Update…
Scratch that, seems to be a delay somewhere as everything works now.

Has this issue been solved? I’m not able to log in on my own site or on this site with Yahoo. I’m getting the same error as dbo “502 Bad Gateway
nginx”
I tried registering an app on the Yahoo developer site (https://developer.yahoo.com/apps/create/ ) and haven’t had any luck.
I am able to log in here on meta just fine via Yahoo, so I don’t think it’s a problem with the Discourse code.
(I did have to change my Yahoo test account password first, probably due to that massive password breach Yahoo had.)

Weird, I swear it didn’t work earlier on this site. I tried it again on my site and it still doesn’t work, so I’m probably just going to remove it for now.
I am unable to get Yahoo login to work either.
I have v1.8.0.beta5 +56 installed on digitalocean that I installed myself using docker.
I get:
502 Bad Gateway nginx
When it redirects me to:
http://talk.trumpreviews.com/auth/yahoo
Did you ever get Yahoo Login to work?

Its working in the next 15 minutes.
The Yahoo auth option doesn’t seem to work on meta. I get:
https://meta.discourse.org/auth/yahoo
502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.11.8

Yahoo login worked for me just now. My guess is that you hit meta when a new container was spinning up.
