reproduction:
- start a dm with yourself
- the issue occurs
it should take you to your own pm
but instead, it takes you to deleted
i’m not sure why it is doing that

I just tested and was able to reproduce this bug. If I send a message, it goes to the “deleted” chat.

Is there any missing step?
What is the deleted chat exactly? Is that a channel or a personal discussion? How can a personal discussion be deleted?
I’d like to repro, but I think I’m missing a bit of info about how the chat works

Swordbattle.io forum runs on older discourse forum software, so that bug seems to still exist over there

If it can be reproduced on meta or other up-to-date forums, it’s a good sign. 
Ideally, the forum you came across the issue in should be upgraded to the last version, so you could test again and confirm.

The forum @hello-smile6 was able to reproduce this on was updated, and it’s still possible, though you have to have an existing chat with @deleted for it to be possible. (EX: Forums without chats to deleted are fine)
