Chat: Video Thumbnails on mobile

When users upload videos on chat the thumbnails appear correctly on desktop but not on mobile (as tested on iOS with multiple browsers).

Does anyone have any guidance on how to get thumbnails to appear for videos on mobile?

I don’t know about iOS but seems to work on Android

Thanks for taking a look… based on the distinctive red/white play button that looks like it’s a YouTube link which works fine in iOS too.

The issue is mentioned is with mp4 and mov uploads in chat.

Ah okay not sure on local uploads like that for previews.

This will help though with someone who would have better info.

This may need something different to extract/generate a video thumbnail preview.
