Confirmation Dialog for Impersonate Action
A feature request has been made to add a confirmation dialog and warning for the Impersonate action. ToddZ shares their experience of mistakenly assuming Impersonate was a “view site as [user]” feature, highlighting the need for clarification. They also note that impersonating a user creates a logged visit and resets notification flags, which should be communicated to the user.
GaurangBlaze suggests adding a confirmation dialog similar to the ones used for other buttons, such as Delete user, to warn users of the implications of impersonating another user. ToddZ agrees, recommending that the dialog warn users that they will be leaving tracks and becoming the impersonated user, rather than just poking around behind the scenes.
