Looking up and generating upload short-urls

You would use this function:

app/models/upload.rb

          def self.sha1_from_short_url(url)
            self.sha1_from_base62_encoded($2) if url =~ %r{(upload://)?([a-zA-Z0-9]+)(\..*)?}
          end

and then lookup the SHA1 in the database to find the upload record.
