Going to sneak in here:
I feel there needs to be something in between Admin & Moderator. The biggest area of concern would be groups. Right now, only admins can create groups. Then can add group owners, who get more privileges, but they have to do that to start off. Depending on the size of staff, there might be one admin and lots of moderators, but that one admin needs to do everything involving groups.
Another potential feature for an “in-between” staff person would be access to certain site-settings. Not being an admin, I don’t know all of them but adjusting things like plugins, and site limits, and more would be nice. Features that I do not think should be given to this “io-between” staff member would be any site-setting that could drastically affect the Discourse, CSS edits, and viewing of all PMs.
Just saw @DarkSwordsman’s post, it appears that his Moderator is the upcoming Category Specific Moderator, where his SuperMod is our current Moderator. His Administrator is the proposed in-between, and the SuperAdmin is our current Administrator
