In the Support category, soraiden reported that category images disappeared from their Lettuce Craft forum following an update. Although they could not recall how the images were originally configured, Moin pointed out that the images were still set in the category appearance settings. Moin suggested the issue likely stemmed from the theme or a specific component, noting warnings in the browser console regarding the category-title-link component Moin. RGJ confirmed this diagnosis, identifying a custom <script> block for category-title-link in the theme as the culprit. Removing this override resolved the problem, as it was not altering functionality but was blocking the images. soraiden expressed gratitude for the assistance.
I used to have an image set for each of my categories on Lettuce Craft. My forum was updated last night and now they are no longer appearing. Unfortunately, it’s been so long since I setup the community, I don’t recall where/how I originally setup those images. Embarrassing, yes, I’m aware.
Does anyone happen to know how I did that in the past, so I can hunt down the path to attempt to revert it to its previous glory? It’s a craft forum. We like cute stuff.
That was exactly the problem. There was an <script type="text/x-handlebars" data-template-name="components/category-title-link"> in the theme. Removing that resolved the issue. The override did not seem to actually change any functionality (maybe it was ahead of its time).
