Group drop downs are not refreshed correctly with new groups

How to reproduce

  1. Create a group
  2. Create a category
  • in the security tab, choose the new group (it should appear)
  • in the settings tab, choose the new group as moderator (it should not appear)
  1. Reload the page
  • the new group should appear in both cases

I guess this is related to that one: Newly-created groups don't show up in category permissions without refresh

This reminds me of this topic where a user struggled to invite users to a group because that wasn’t shown if you did not refresh the site. Maybe there is a more general problem in how Discourse doesn’t know about new groups.

I was not able to find a topic that was created based on this, but I think I can still reproduce :woman_shrugging:
