Tag icons seem to work only on tags where the translation is identical to the English version of the tag. I think it would be helpful if it worked for translated tags too, especially here on Meta where tag icons add a lot of meaning. For example, the icon in front of ai clarifies that the tag refers to the official plugin instead of AI in general.

Irrelevant, but isn’t the tag translation incorrect? In translates correctly in Chinese (人工智能) but not in Japanese (since that means ‘love’, from the pronunciation ‘ai’ (as it also is in Chinese)).
