Any progress on this issue? We are seeing 14GB of memory being allocated when creating an EMPTY instance of 3.2.1 before it runs out of memory and dies.

Could you share output of vmstat 5 in this case? If you’re looking at ps or top then you might be seeing something other than the memory that’s in use. Allocated memory isn’t so important if it’s not in use. For example, in ps output I see VSZ and RSS. I care about the RSS. # ps uax|egrep '[0-9]…
