Hi, Wonder if you could help explain why sometimes I am able to mark a post as the official answer (with a tick) and at other times, the tickmark is not available for selection on the post that is the solution? [image]

It depends if the category allows solved or not. So you’d edit the category to allow this behavior.

Ah, super  Thanks Jeff! I’ll edit the categories!

There is also a site settings that globally allows users to mark as solved a topic in all the categories (in case you want to enable the solution anywhere). Otherwise, just enable the solution on some categories as you are doing.

Thank you @trash  Appreciated!

Support and #installation from memory.

Ok thank you for the information

@dax I was looking for that setting under /admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter= but couldn’t find anything related to marking solutions as the official answer. Could you please give me a hint where to find it? Thanks! :waving_hand::slightly_smiling_face:

Is GitHub - discourse/discourse-solved: Allow accepted answers on topics · GitHub installed on your site?

@dax not yet, thanks! I didn’t know it required an additional plugin to be installed first. :kissing_face_with_closed_eyes:
