I manage a community on Discourse, and since GTM has some limitations, I would like to implement Adobe Analytics instead. Is it possible to implement Adobe Analytics on Discourse? If yes, any issues I should look out for?
This was the response on a similar request:
Thank you, Nate.
The conversation seems incomplete. Any pointers on how to do it?
Sorry, I can’t help with that. I’m not very familiar with Adobe Analytics.
Why does that sound like an AI ?
Thank you, Nate!
@pfaffman hey! i just saw your thread. I wanted to check with you if there is anything we should be aware of before taking this project up?
Uh, What thread? Looks like I said pretty much exactly what I said here; at least I’m consistent.
Not that I’m aware of. I don’t know what they want, but I think you could just stick it in an initializer.
We now have a site setting in core to add Adobe Analytics – “Adobe Analytics tags URL”.
Adding your Adobe Analytics URL in above setting will add the required script tag in your site header.
Thanks a lot Arpit, I have created a component for this. Now it is very straight forward.
Thank you for sharing this, Arpit, Jay. So it is doable… good to know. does this setting come with a plugin?
This is a built-in setting, no need to install a theme component or a plugin.
Weird, i’m not seeing the setting.
You might need to upgrade Discourse.
