Am I understanding this correctly?
When the Search ignore accents setting is enabled, its effect is not noticeable until the jobs::ReindexSearch rake task is run. Maybe a change could be made to prompt the admin to run immediately when the setting is toggled? If not, then yes the description for the Search ignore accents setting needs an addition. Maybe something like the below?
Accent marks in search queries are disregarded if this setting is enabled, allowing users to find results even if they don’t input the correct accents. If you change this, it will take effect next time search is reindexed, a daily task.
