Ability To Close Your Own Topics When Not A Leader

There are subjects about this already, have you checked other topics before posting this, in my opinion letting others close and open topics is a risk for spam

Allow regular user to archive (or close) their own topic?

Is there an easy way to allow regular users to be able to archive a topic they started? I don’t think this feature would be abused for what I’m considering using discourse for. For example for a buy and sell category, where the item is sold, or maybe a category discussing events, where the event is over, it would be good if the original poster could archive the topic themselves. A point in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

People should be able to close there own topic!

Hey @sam @codinghorror and others! I feel like people should be able to close there own topics, becuase on our forum a issue is there’s a time where leaders are never on and I want one of my topics closed and I can’t get it closed! I hope you consider this in the next update! Bye.

Allow users to lock, unlist, and delete their own topics

Ok. i know this is WAY too similar to an old suggestion. You can lock, unlist, make private and delete YOUR topics. because that way if a thread gets out of hand WAY out of hand, you can use whichever one as you see fit.
