Adding a custom Link/Icon to the discourse header

Hey there,
I would like to add an Icon/Link to my IRC channel on the Discourse header

I i know enough HTML to create the icon and put a link on it, but I’m not sure how to actually put it on the header (ive been trying for hours)

Can i get some advice?
