Allow modifying posts in the review queue

Can posts in the review queue be modified?

As Allow editing posts whilst in review - Forum Feedback - Tor Project Forum and Where can a user find the post that was rejected by the moderator? - #18 by rokejulianlockhart explain, in instances with review queues, the inability to edit a post after it has been submitted is a serious annoyance. I can’t understand why modification, once submitted, is restricted until it has been accepted.
