Arabic topic titles don't show up in urls

Can we have the arabic topic title in url ?
It’s not there and the url is like : t/topic/7/2

Changing slug generation method to encoded doesn’t solve this?

just saw a very strange behavior in our site:

some of the topics the topic-title is in the url, and in the others it’s not!

this one:
“http://discourse.padpors.com/t/الهام-از-حركت-چيتاها-براي-ساختن-ماشين-هاي-آينده؟/1510”

versus this one:
“http://discourse.padpors.com/t/topic/1224”

any idea what’s happening there?
the first link is much better for our seo, though it’s not a beautiful link!

Maybe the slugs where generated before you changed the setting?

Rename a topic that doesn’t have the slug.

  • edit the slugs which have been produced before this change.

and it changes the urls so that it contain Persian titles. thanks Falco.
