Hello, I have members who can’t upload more than one image at once in posts. I thought I had fixed the issue by changing the below settings but it apparently doesn’t work. Please, help.
yea I cannot reproduce this issue on any instance. are all users affected? or only a certain ones?
can you (as admin user) upload multiple images in a post?
if not, are you able to in safe mode? are there any errors in the console?
As an admin, I can upload multiple files but this is affecting several new users. That’s fine, I just upgraded them to level 1. Thanks for the help anyway.
Look for settings containing “Newuser”. Some are file-related. 
/admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=Newuser
I have some users currently experiencing this issue as well. They report it is happening on Android 15 and Android 16. I’m unable to reproduce it as I do not have an Android. 
i tested a brand new user with the following settings and was not able to repro the issue. if i changed them, it would affect how many images or files i could upload as expected. the defaults are 1 and 0.

however, i cannot test android since i don’t own an android device. but posting multiple image files seems to work as expected for me on my Macbook and Linux desktops, and iPhone 15 pro mobile viewport.

Are they prevented from uploading files, or from posting their message containing uploads?
Do you know what message Discourse show?
If this is “An error occurred: Sorry, new users can only put one embedded media item in a post.”, then the related setting is Newuser max embedded media.
Here is what my users have reported, if anyone is curious. I wish I could reproduce it.
