I resolved most users’ complaints by raising the file limit and maybe tweaking some other settings, but one user still can’t upload more than one file.
Could you provide details of the error that they are getting please?

What about your forum’s other settings like size limits per file, per post?
Max image size is 9.765625 MB. I doubt it’s a file size setting since most users aren’t encountering the problem. And even if that were the issue, there should be a helpful error message rather than just timing out with no files uploaded.
Are any other users encountering the problem?
I am assuming your user is TL0 (trust level 0).
We have a site setting newuser max embedded media that is set to 1. So this might be the reason.
Otherwise, if it’s just that user, another thing that can help us debug the issue is to ask them to try
- upload only three images
- or upload 5 small images (in KB)

The user has trust level 3.
No one else has complained since I changed the number of files allowed from 5 to 12.
So is there still a problem to solve?

Sometimes all 3 or 5 photos upload. Sometimes they stall and time out like I explained above. I just tested this four times for sets of three photos. Three times it worked; one time it stalled and timed out.
Even 2 photos can stall and time out

Dit is een lastige voor ons om u mee te helpen, aangezien u het zelf niet eens op uw site kunt repliceren. Laat het ons weten als u stappen kunt vinden om het te repliceren, of kijk of de gebruiker die het probleem op uw site ondervindt tijd kan vinden om een paar afbeeldingen te uploaden naar dit onderwerp hier op meta. Het resultaat daarvan is iets waar we misschien mee kunnen werken.
Ik heb zelf een iOS-apparaat en heb geen problemen met het uploaden van meerdere bestanden. Misschien ligt het probleem bij de bandbreedte en/of bestandsgrootte? Ik heb in het verleden problemen gehad met het uploaden van afbeeldingen bij een trage verbinding.
Ik zal dit onderwerp instellen om automatisch te sluiten over 30 dagen, aangezien het probleem beperkt lijkt te zijn tot deze ene persoon.
