I’m auto-bumping topics in my main categories to encourage new users of my growing forum to engage with older posts, and it’s going great!

But there are some tags we use for time-sensitive posts like breaking news or limited time sales that just don’t make sense to bump.

I’m now closing those topics after a set amount of time to prevent them being bumped, but I’m never happy closing off discussions. Could you add a way to prevent topics being bumped for certain tags?

Could you move them to a category that doesn’t do auto bumps?

Well yes I could but we have many categories and don’t want to add even more…

Hi,my question is closely related to this one, but it’s exactly the opposite :grin:. I’d like to know if there’s a mechanism for auto-bumping topics with a certain tag.
