Scorrimento automatico compromette l'accessibilità

I’m a screen reader user, and automatic scrolling breaks accessibility with focusing issues.
If I want to find a post in middle of a long thread, it’s impossible with screen reader because screen reader focus jumps all over the place.
I have to go to the top, read one by one until I find the post. I just spent 20 minutes to just find the post I need to reply
Is that possible to have an user preference to enable paging?

I’m afraid it is not an option at this time, no.

It would be helpful to have some more details of the screen reader that you’re using though, so that we can dig into this a bit more.

Perhaps you can try the “jump to” dialog. In NVDA you would exit browse mode and enter edit mode, then press # which opens a dialog that let’s you jump to a particular post.

Questo problema è enorme quando si utilizza Jaws, indipendentemente dal browser utilizzato. Firefox è un po’ meglio qui, ma non molto. Dato che NVDA funziona meglio, ho più o meno rinunciato a questo, anche se è un fastidio quotidiano sul mio forum che ha thread estremamente lunghi e di lunga durata! Anche navigare in questi thread che hanno post oltre 300, anche oltre 100, è più o meno impossibile.

Un nuovo aggiornamento. Questo “vai al numero di thread” funziona bene quando funziona, tuttavia nei thread lunghi che leggo, non funziona sempre. A volte si finisce qualche post lontano dal numero effettivo, ad esempio si atterra sul 455 quando si inserisce 450. Questo potrebbe essere dovuto a problemi di Jaws con lo scorrimento, non ho testato con NVDA. Comunque, una volta sono stato riportato indietro a circa il post 150 e in un certo senso sono rimasto bloccato qui, senza modo di avvicinarmi al post 490 che è attualmente l’ultimo post in questo thread.
