The Tag List Widget allows you to display tags from Discourse in a sidebar using my Bars! :cocktail: :beers: or the Right Sidebar Blocks Theme Components.

The widget allows for some configurability with settings such as:

  • :see_no_evil: Hiding specific tags
  • :page_with_curl: Changing display styles (row or column)
  • :hash: Showing count
  • :bar_chart: Change sorting type

How’s mobiles? Normally something like 80 % or more are using mobiles and for them sidebars are useless. Will they see something or is this only for desktops and tablets?

@Jagster Yes this will work on mobile :grinning:

The Layouts Plugin can be configured to work on mobile. Here’s some more info from the documentation about how to set that up:

Um die kürzlich aufgetretenen Änderungen zusammenzufassen:\n\n* Ich habe auch die Unterstützung für Blöcke in der rechten Seitenleiste hinzugefügt\n* Ich habe sie teilweise zu Glimmer migriert (das Widget ruft eine Glimmer-Vorlage auf)\n* Ich habe ein Caching hinzugefügt, um häufige Aufrufe von tags.json zu verhindern (was es bei jedem Seitenwechsel aufgerufen hat!) - wenn Sie ein neues Tag sehen möchten, müssen Sie Ihren Browser aktualisieren. Dies wird Folgendes lindern:\n * Belastung des Servers\n * die sichtbare Aktualisierung.

Als Teil einer Migration zur Entfernung aller Legacy-Layouts und des Discourse-Widget-Codes wurde dieser vollständig nach Glimmer migriert, verlagert und die Komponente umbenannt. Möglicherweise müssen Sie Ihre Bars- oder RSB-Konfiguration aktualisieren:
