When you use the Calendar function to insert a date, like this: 2020-01-06T23:30:00Z , it shows up in emails like this: “2020-01-06T23:30:00Z UTC”.
I wish I’d known that before I sent out a meeting announcement!

Which emails are you referring to?
Emails have to use UTC because it’s not like we can run fancy JavaScript to determine the user’s current date and time in email…

In questo caso, una email di annuncio di una riunione, come ho detto.
Se queste cose non verranno visualizzate correttamente nelle email (il modo principale in cui le persone ricevono le notifiche dei post di Discourse), forse l’opzione per inserire una data non dovrebbe esistere.
