Kalender-Plugin-Option Suchergebnisse landen nicht am richtigen Ort

Hi,

If you search in admin for the term calendar enabled and click on it then you land in the holiday calendar section which is empty of options.

Same happens if you click from the vertical list of plugins. The only way to reach the options are to go to installed plugins>calendar otherwise you always land on this page

We fixed this recently, can you try updating to latest?

Not planning any update before a few weeks but I will report here if the update has no impact but I’m sure it will. Thank you for your reply.

Came here because of the solved tag but I assume this should be calendar-and-event instead.

I just pulled and this is the behaviour.

Very weird, this is not reproing on the admin screen on meta.

@martin fixed here:

But somehow there is a case (that can only be reproed on dev envs) that we missed.

I’m not seeing any issue here? In Nat’s video she chooses Plugins > Calendar from the list which takes you to the right place. Calendar > Calendar enabled takes you to the site settings.

It is weird cause you probably want to enable/disable and can not from that screen

Maybe @nat can clarify ?

Yes, the plugin UI for Calendar needs to be overhauled like we have for others like Gamification, Automation, and Chat, the staff-experience team just hasn’t gotten around to it yet.

I could be wrong, but the OP mentions:

So if they’re trying to get to the site settings[1], they’d have to go to “Installed plugins > Calendar”.

When using + / then “Footnotes” it goes to Settings, so perhaps the assumption is a similar behaviour.

That’s because Footnotes does not have its own custom admin plugin UI page like Calendar does:

Really the fix here is to make Calendar match plugins like AI and Gamification that have the new plugin UI and have the Settings tab in the same place. From our internal topic (t/122601), these are the plugins that still aren’t done:

Oh that’s great – looks like this is just a matter of time then.

We’ll add an update in this topic when this is merged.
