It would be great is the admins also get a notification when new users of the month gets selected. That way we can socially promote those users in timely manner.
Now, on my site the users got selected 18 days ago but now I am remembering to promote them. So a notification would be good. Moreover, telling users to share the badge they just got rewarded would be a bonus.

There is a new setting to include a group in automated messages sent by the site. I enabled this and it has been a huge help for this.
