To reproduce:

  • go to any sufficiently long topic, eg. Blank screen when switching back to the iOS app
  • immediately press m r or m t to try to change the tracking status of the topic - no reaction, no requests to the server
  • press End to go to the end of the topic - m r and m t work as expected.

Observed using Firefox 68.7.0esr on Linux.
