Recently I installed the experimental form templates
feature as reported, but after creating a form for the category, the “create topic” button did not work.
Do I need to install anything else to enable this feature?
Users hoangphuctran93 and David_Ghost reported that the experimental form templates feature fails to work when the official Perspective API plugin is active, preventing the “create topic” button from functioning in categories assigned form templates. ondrej confirmed the feature should work with proper setup and asked for logs and safe mode testing. After disabling plugins one by one, hoangphuctran93 identified Perspective API as the culprit and requested a fix from the Discourse team. zogstrip initially requested detailed reproduction steps but later confirmed they could reproduce the issue independently and began working on a fix. A fix was developed and submitted via PR discourse/discourse-perspective-api#93, which was subsequently merged. hoangphuctran93 acknowledged the fix and planned to reinstall and verify functionality. The issue is tagged as a bug and marked “fixed”.

No as long as you enable the feature in settings, create a template and assign it to a category it’ll work.
Are there any errors in logs and does it occur in safe mode?
Thank you, after trying to turn off the plugins one by one, the form template feature is working, they are affected by the “Perspective Api” plugin, this is an offical plugin, I hope the discourse team can check and correct it.
Yes i second that. Its not working with Discourse Google Perspective API
@hoangphuctran93 / @David_Ghost could you share the following so that I can better diagnose this issue?
