A regression issue has been reported where the category dropdown is not respecting the configured foreground color. renato noticed this issue after upgrading and provided a screenshot as evidence. tgxworld asked for clarification and renato confirmed that the issue occurs despite using the “box” category style. tgxworld has identified the problem and a fix is in progress via this pull request.

I’ve upgraded yesterday and I noticed that the category dropdown is not using the foreground color configured for each category anymore. I have all of them configured with a white foreground color, but it’s now being shown like this:
I believe this regression was introduced with this line committed yesterday.

May I clarify what you mean here? From the screenshot, it seems like you’ve set the category style site setting to box.

Yep, I’m using the box style, but the foreground color was working before. You can also see in the same screenshot that the white foreground color is being applied to the topic list, just below the dropdown.
