Certain Youtube videos aren't embeddable on my site but they are here

Ok I just made a topic where I thought it was a Reddit vs. Discourse thing and I was trying to understand, however when I posted the video that wasn’t embedding on my site on this site

It embedded completely fine, whereas this same video on my site

I assumed it was just one of the videos made unembeddable until i saw the same link was working on reddit, but more confusing it’s working HERE. How is that possible? Most (well, some) videos work completely normally on my site so nothing is wrong with the embedding, but clearly some of them are not.

Where in the world is your discourse host? (And which provider are you using?) I wonder if the difference is be in the way YouTube servers get to see the requests at time of posting.

Can you check your allowed_onebox_iframes and allowed_iframes site settings?
