The Discourse “Activity Summary” (formerly known as the digest email) is an email sent out to members of a forum who haven’t visited in a specific period with a collection of the most popular content since their last visit.
Individual users have the ability to determine some of what is included and how often they receive it.
On the Emails tab in your user preferences, you can do the following:
- change the mailing frequency
- uncheck the box to set the frequency to
You can also adjust these settings by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any Activity Summary email you receive.
On the same tab, you can choose to include or exclude content from new users.
On the Notifications tab, you can also mute categories or tags to exclude those topics from appearing in the Activity Summary emails you receive:
Note: this will also hide those topics on the Latest page
