I initially installed Discourse on a small server with limited storage capacity and now I’m running out of space. Long term, I will end up moving to a new server. Short term, is it possible to relocate my current storage to a file server? It’s on the same local network as the Discourse server.

Sure @jomaxro can maybe point you to a relevant howto, if we do not have one, we should.
We don’t appear to have a specific howto for this, but it should be fairly simple (just moving the data to a new location and changing two lines in the app.yml). I’m going to do some testing and then I’ll write this up.
