Adding a bit of festive flair to your forum – I present a Christmas decoration component!

This component includes three flairs:

1. Christmas Lights
2. Christmas Hats
3. Christmas Decoration Image

Each flair can be individually enabled/disabled via theme settings. For Christmas Decoration Image there is also a setting to invert color for forum with Dark theme.

The Christmas lights were inspired from @Canapin’s ideas here.

Very nice! One small thing - it doesn’t seem like the ‘enable decoration image’ is making any difference. I think it might need an if statement in the SCSS?

This is great, thanks. Much easier as a theme component than a theme.

The hats worked immediately but I had to fiddle around to get the lights to work - e.g. ticked the enable/disable boxes (though not sure that is what made it work) and restarted the iOS Hub app - but I guess that’s realistic for lights

That is weird. I just checked installing the component (again) on theme-creator and it worked on first try. Let me know if the issue persists.

It’s all working now. Maybe it was something to do with caching - the avatars being updated sooner than the menu bar. “Caching” is a good catch-all excuse as I don’t understand it.

Nel mio discorso, cappello e luce funzionano bene, tuttavia l’immagine decorativa non viene visualizzata. Non ho idea del perché ciò accada.

Se può essere d’aiuto, la decorazione appare solo sul desktop, in alto a sinistra e in alto a destra.

L’immagine decorativa viene visualizzata quando la larghezza minima dello schermo è di 1450px. Stai visualizzando il sito su un monitor piccolo o un laptop?

oh. Lo provo sul mio monitor 2k, così funziona. Ora sto usando il mio Lenovo Yoga Duet (una specie di Microsoft Surface) e così scompare. Tuttavia è possibile visualizzarlo su un monitor piccolo o un laptop?

Sarebbe un peccato che gli utenti di laptop non potessero vedere la campana… Mi piace. Quella sta per Natale.

Puoi fare il fork del tema e modificare le impostazioni della larghezza dello schermo.

Se qualcuno ha altri componenti che appaiono prima delle decorazioni, puoi provare ad aggiungere questo CSS per forzare le luci ad essere le prime:

#main-container > * {
  display: flex;
  flex-direction: column;
  width: 100%;
}

#main-container .lightrope {
  order: -1;
}

(questo potrebbe rompere altre integrazioni, quindi testa a fondo)

C’è un modo per cambiare i colori delle luci? Sto provando con il CSS, ma senza successo.

Sembra che aggiungerà un secondo cappello all’emoji (nel menu utente in alto a destra) quando l’utente imposta uno stato utente
