Self hosting with digitalocean. Itโs not a big deal it seems to be working fine for everyone else
Well, if you feel like debugging, you could ssh into your server and do something like this:
user = User.find_by(username: "YOUR_USERNAME")
date = DiscourseRewind.year_date_range
DiscourseRewind::FetchReports::REPORTS.each { |report| puts Benchmark.measure { report.call(user: user, date: date) } }
And that can help narrow down which is the slow report
Then we could provide some extra debugging if you would like.
@msohm this issue will be fixed now, your site has been deployed. On the /admin/whats-new page be sure to click this button:
And refresh the page before trying to use the toggle again ![]()
It seems to me that it comes back each day, is that normal? I find it a bit distractingโฆ
Seems itโs not really a dismissable notification, but more of a temporary feature.
(I donโt mind โ itโs fun to revisit.)
I think this was fixes a few hours ago
@martin Thanks! It is working on my site now.
@martin I spoke too soon. While I can now enable the toggle without any error, it doesnโt actually turn on. The rewind page says it doesnโt exist and when I go back to check the rewind toggle itโs disabled again. If I enable the toggle and refresh the page, it shows that itโs disabled.
I did click the Check for Updates button a few times too.
On my personal site, I noticed that it didnโt show up immediately either when I enabled it, even after refreshing. It was only when I came back 30 minutes later to check and refreshed that it showed up.
