The first one is very pricy and the second one from what I understand is a one time hosting service. If we have our own infrastructure is it better to go with 2nd one if there isnt any other hosting services?

Además de que me parece de mal gusto y ridículo comparar una situación comercial con un crimen de este tipo, implicaría que los clientes no pueden abandonar nuestro hosting, y sí pueden: pueden descargar una copia de seguridad y cambiar su DNS y alojarse en otro lugar en cualquier momento que deseen.
Cuando un plugin no está en la lista de plugins instalables, simplemente contáctenos y díganos qué plugin desea instalar. Lo evaluaremos y, cuando sea estable y esté dentro de los límites de su plan, lo instalaremos en un plazo de 12 horas.
No le permitimos instalar plugins usted mismo porque ofrecemos hosting gestionado donde evitamos que su foro se bloquee o se caiga. Si permitimos que nuestros clientes tengan acceso SSH y/o instalen plugins que no conocemos, no podemos asumir esa responsabilidad.
