ボットメッセージ内のリンクのみを一致させる理由は何でしょうか？ ユーザーとしては、任意のリンクを貼り付けて onebox を取得することがタスクであると想定するでしょう。ボットからのリンクのいずれかを特にコピーする必要はないでしょうし、ユーザーにリンクをコピーすることを特に期待しているとも思いません。ユーザーが学ぶべきことは onebox が存在することであり、この学習はボットのメッセージ内のリンクだけでなく、すべてのリンクで達成されます。

The goal of this step in the tutorial is not just to get the user to insert any link, but to show what’s special about a Onebox.
I actually also assumed that, as before Martin’s change in February, it would first try to find a general Onebox and, if that fails, check the links as an alternative. Because these links are also suitable for adapting the text to one’s own community. I have already adapted the tutorial with completely different links to match the forum and the company behind it. So the problem doesn’t just affect foreign-language forums.
I noticed that one of the 3 German Wikipedia links in the Discobot tutorial no longer works because the corresponding article was deleted in early 2023.

It should therefore be replaced so that new users in particular are not confused by being shown a feature with an example that doesn’t work.
The reasons why I don’t simply replace the link with another link like Plenk – Wikipedia or Beerware – Wikipedia are the following considerations:
Are there ways to prevent something like this from happening again and then nobody notices it for 2 years?
So is it sensible to choose less funny Wikipedia articles because the risk of deletion is lower? Or do you choose other sources instead of Wikipedia and link, for example, to websites where you have control that the links work, such as Discourse Discover and the blog post with tips for new users.
If I understand the comment on the PR linked here correctly, the fix for other links doesn’t work anyway.

Because this affects not only individual customizations, but all links that are not identical to the English ones, including those in the German tutorial. I also have the impression that the problem affects not only very fast users who submit before the Onebox is loaded in the preview, but also all those who use the mobile version, where no preview is displayed at all. The fact that the fix only works for the predefined links would be a reason for me to use the English links in the German localization as well. However, it then seems translated to me and not like an authentic German tutorial.
As a compromise, I could also imagine leaving the 3 links from the first step different from the English original and changing the 2nd step, if no Onebox was recognized on the first attempt, so that the reliably working English link is there, but only users who have already failed to recognize the Onebox see this and thus need the fix with the specified links.
However, this would also be something that should perhaps be ensured in the code by translators not being able to adjust this link, but the placeholder %{link} being directly specified.

Das Ziel dieses Schritts im Tutorial ist nicht nur, den Nutzer dazu zu bringen, irgendeinen Link einzufügen, sondern zu zeigen, was das Besondere an einer Onebox ist.
Ich ging tatsächlich auch davon aus, dass wie vor Martins Änderung im Februar zuerst versucht wird, allgemein eine Onebox zu finden, und wenn das fehlschlägt, als Alternative die Links geprüft werden. Denn diese Links eignen sich auch für die Anpassung des Textes an die eigene Community. Ich habe das Tutorial bereits mit ganz anderen Links passend zum Forum und dem dahinterstehenden Unternehmen gemacht. Das Problem betrifft also nicht nur fremdsprachige Foren.
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass einer der 3 deutschen Wikipedia-Links im Discobot-Tutorial nicht mehr funktioniert, da der entsprechende Artikel Anfang 2023 gelöscht wurde.

Ist es also sinnvoll, weniger lustige Wikipedia-Artikel zu wählen, weil dann das Risiko einer Löschung geringer ist? Oder wählt man anstelle von Wikipedia andere Quellen und verlinkt zum Beispiel zu Webseiten, bei denen man die Kontrolle hat, dass die Links funktionieren, wie Discourse Discover und den Blogbeitrag mit Tipps für neue Nutzer.
Wenn ich den Kommentar zu dem PR, der hier verlinkt ist, richtig verstehe, dann funktioniert die Korrektur für andere Links ohnehin nicht.

Denn das betrifft ja nicht nur individuelle Anpassungen, sondern alle Links, die nicht mit den englischen identisch sind, also auch die im deutschen Tutorial. Ich habe auch den Eindruck, dass das Problem nicht nur sehr schnelle Nutzer betrifft, die absenden, bevor die Onebox in der Vorschau geladen ist, sondern auch alle, die die mobile Version nutzen, wo gar keine Vorschau angezeigt wird. Dass der Fix nur für die vorgegebenen Links funktioniert, wäre für mich ein Grund, auch in der deutschen Lokalisierung die englischen Links zu verwenden. Allerdings wirkt es dann auf mich wie übersetzt und nicht wie ein authentisches deutsches Tutorial.
Als Kompromiss könnte ich mir auch vorstellen, die 3 Links aus dem ersten Schritt weiterhin anders als das englische Original zu belassen und den 2. Schritt, wenn beim ersten Versuch keine Onebox erkannt wurde, so zu ändern, dass dort der sicher funktionierende, englische Link steht, dies aber nur Nutzer sehen, bei denen die Erkennung der Onebox schon einmal fehlgeschlagen ist und die somit den Fix mit den festgelegten Links brauchen.
Das wäre aber auch etwas, was man dann vielleicht im Code sicherstellen sollte, indem Übersetzende diesen Link nicht anpassen können, sondern der Platzhalter %{link} direkt vorgegeben ist.
