Cakeday plugin: Ability to add birthday on signup

As of now, the ability to add a birthday on the cakeday plugin is only available through editing the user’s profile. I think it would improve the discoverability/usability of this feature if the field was also available to be edited on signup (as an optional field). Is this on the roadmap?
