Discourse disable emails when someone replies etc

Hello! I’ve tried to search on the forums about how to disable people getting mailed when someone replies to their post etc… and i only found solutions for old versions of Discourse, where the admin settings are different to my settings, my version: v2.4.0.beta2,

btw, where i can change the default preferences for new users?

Maybe change

  • default email level
  • default email messages level

In the user preferences section? That will change this settings just for new users
