Les liens Discourse ne s'ouvrent pas dans de nouveaux onglets

Hi All,
When I am using links other than discourse articles, it’s opening in a new tab.
But when I gave the link of the posts on discourse in one of our other articles, it opened in the same tab.
How do resolve this?
Kindly help.

Other

Open all external links in a new tab

There is no option to open same site links in a new tab. If you need that:

  • right click (or long tap) and select open in new tab
  • if on a keyboard enabled device, hold the ctrl key when clicking

I guess the solution provided is the only option.
Is it a possibility, if we can open all links in new tab (be it external or internal) in the near future???

Discourse is a Single Page App. How would it make sense to open all links in a different tab. Even for normal sites, who wants to open all links in a new tab anyway?

If you don’t want to “lose your place” in Discourse, for internal links you can always right-click and select “Open link in new tab”. You will still be where you left off in your original tab/window. Or just right-click on your browser’s back button and select the page you want to go back to. That’s about what your possibilities are unless an option is provided in the future to open all links in a new tab.

Though if you open a link in a new tab by right clicking it and pressing open in new tab/ window/ incognito window it will not say that the link had been clicked which is kind of annoying (probably a bug)

Yes, that’s the downside of right-clicking on them.

Pouvons-nous avoir une fonctionnalité à l’échelle du tableau qui permet d’ouvrir tous les liens externes dans un nouvel onglet pour les invités ?

Actuellement, la fonctionnalité est une préférence utilisateur et ne fonctionne pas pour les invités (ou les pages publiées, par exemple).

Cas d’utilisation : ce serait bien d’avoir cela là où il n’est pas vraiment nécessaire de s’inscrire, dans mon cas pour les sujets/la documentation wiki.

C’est en fait fortement contraire à toute expérience utilisateur. Et cela peut être vraiment ennuyeux quand un site commence à polluer les onglets. Laissez l’utilisateur décider quand et quoi ouvrir dans des onglets.

Y a-t-il un moyen de forcer l’ouverture dans un nouvel onglet ?

Je n’arrive pas à faire en sorte que notre « page de statut » externe s’affiche dans un nouvel onglet sur une global_notice.

Je ne veux pas que les gens quittent le site, je veux juste que les utilisateurs puissent ouvrir un nouvel onglet avec nos informations de statut ?

Je mets en place un nouveau Discourse et je rencontre également ce problème. J’aimerais que les liens externes s’ouvrent dans un nouvel onglet. Le paramètre est activé. Mais lorsque je publie des liens, ils n’ont tout simplement aucune cible assignée et ne s’ouvrent évidemment pas dans un nouvel onglet.

OK, c’est étrange, mais je me suis absenté pendant environ 15 minutes et maintenant les liens s’ouvrent dans un nouvel onglet. :person_shrugging:
