Discourse to Discord Webhook

This PHP script acts an intermediary between Discourse and Discord, receiving webhooks from Discourse and parsing them into an optimal format before relaying them to Discord.

Installation

Just clone it!

git clone https://github.com/critcola/discourse-to-discord-webhook.git

This has been tested with and is supported on PHP 7.1, but should work fine on older versions of PHP.

Configuration

Copy config-template.php to config.php and populate all non-optional variables after configuring webhooks in both Discourse and Discord.

I am getting this error when sending a ping or a new post is created. Any help with what is happening here?

I tried both a public and private channel; same response.

Oui, donc… moi aussi ? J’exécute Discourse dans un conteneur Docker et le fichier app.yml contient de nombreuses lignes pour cloner des dépôts Git afin de les construire via le lanceur. J’ajoute donc :

- git clone https://github.com/critcola/discourse-to-discord-webhook.git

au fichier app.yml et je reconstruis… mais il n’est plus clair pour moi comment modifier le fichier config-template.php et enregistrer ces modifications dans config.php, puisque tout est automatisé par le processus de construction du lanceur.

Pourquoi ne pas intégrer ces paramètres dans une interface de configuration sous la section d’administration plutôt que de devoir éditer un fichier PHP ? Si cela s’avère peu pratique, comment une personne comme moi pourrait-elle modifier le fichier config.php ? Dois-je entrer dans l’environnement du conteneur Docker et créer manuellement le fichier config.php à l’intérieur ? Ces modifications survivront-elles aux mises à jour et aux reconstructions Docker ?
