Small feature request. On my forum, detected spammers are automatically silenced.
They show up in the online users list, and they often have an unwelcome brand-like avatar.
I’d like to keep the avatar list clean, and thus prevent silenced users from appearing in whos-online. 
I don’t think that’s online users… that’s participating users.
Which means it can also contain a user that is currently silences for some reason, but isn’t necessarily a spammer and has a valid post in that topic.
Can’t you mitigate your problem by moderating and deleting the spam-account? That way, it’s gone from the list.
Just to be sure you understand my point, I’m talking about whos-online which shows a list of avatars above the topic list, not avatars on each topic’s row
