Workaround: Add a space before the emoji colon.

It happens in titles too and text from YouTube btw
It would be great to have this fixed for both post body and title if possible.

There is a site setting 
which makes it possible to render emojis without spaces too.
Enable inline emoji translation
“Enables translation for inline emojis (without any space or punctuation before)”

Omg I’ve never noticed that setting, thanks! I enabled it and rebuilt html, now it is properly rendered.
