Event registration/interested time for waiting list and event management

Hi,

One of the main upcoming feature for the event plugin should be a max participant limit for event. I thought of using the Interested status to act as a waiting list : like once the event is full, people can still click on the waiting list. For managing this it would be nice to retrieve 2 types of data :

-registration/deregistration time per topic involving events

-interested/uninterested time per topic involving events

I would very much like that and it has already been communicated elsewhere - I think the developers have not yet commented on it, have they?
