Agree, it would be really nice if the agenda showed it in order of event date, soonest (top) to latest (bottom).

Not sure if anyone else has run into this, but today my Agenda page wasn’t pulling anything.

I was able to reload it a few times and get it to come up. Just odd. Doesn’t happen often, but that’s not the first time I’ve seen it.

From the above post, are the agenda items supposed to be in chronological order now? Mine still aren’t, so I’m not sure how to fix that, if they’re supposed to be. I did try rebuilding the app, to no avail. Thanks all.

@angus, I have noticed something with the agenda, i created a new event, and this one goes at the bottom of the list. I guess it doesn’t sort the new created events.
You can see here the 19th of september event -> Sortir - Activités - Français à Londres

Not sure if anyone else has run into this, but we have our events setup on a moderated category. When they come in for review, it doesn’t show the date/times and location on that view. But then, even if the topic is approved, it seems to somehow strip out the time/date and location fields. They don’t make it to the actual post after moderation. We tried it twice and ran into it both times.

We have certain events that repeat throughout the year. Is there a way to add multiple date to the original event topic? Right now, we end up having to re-enter the same event multiple times with the different dates. Is there a way to choose multiple dates, and have those dates show up on the event? Alternatively, maybe immediately create all the events, when you enter multiple dates?

I’m going to be spending some time on this plugin tomorrow and will address any bugs then.

@sfoster There’s no recurring events feature yet, but it’s on the roadmap.

New maintainer :tada:

@fzngagan Is a new co-maintainer of this plugin and will be taking on the day-to-day of dealing with bug reports and feature requests. He’ll be giving it the attention it deserves, particularly making it more robust, e.g. with more tests coverage, and building new features.

Email notifications

To resolve this for the immediate-term I’ve had to remove all event details from email notifications. Email templating has undergone a considerable overhaul meaning that re-introducing email details into emails is a now seperate feature.

Adding &api_key={valid-api-key}&api_user={valid-api-user} to the webcal url worked.

I’ve fixed this issue. You’ll need to update the plugin and your discourse to the master or tests-passed branch of discourse to use this fix.

I’ve just updated to that latest version of discourse

2.4.0.beta2

with database schema v20190812141433.

and locations and events are no longer showing in the user interface.

Anyone else here having the same issues?

@csmu I’ve been running the same version on my dev instance without these issues.
What are the recent changes you’ve done other than updating the instance?

In particular we need:

  1. Links to your instance / topics where this is happening
  2. Any server or client-side logs you can provide

Which the wizard will ask for.

I can confirm I run into the same issue. I am not able to create new Events. I’m on version v2.4.0.beta2 +328 and the latest Events Plugin Version.

Edit:
Old Events are visible and can be edited. The Agenda is also missing in the category overviews.

If I can provide you some data just ask me for what I have to look :eyes:
